Clinical toxicology: The acute oral LD50 in rats is 76-89 mg/kg. The acute dermal LD50 concentration in rabbits for skin and eye exposure is >2000 mg/kg. It is non-irritating to the skin and non-sensitizing. The rat inhalation LC50 (4 h) is 2.12-4.44 mg/m³, with a NOEL (1 y) of 0.25 mg/kg b.w. for dogs. The ADI is 0.0025 mg/kg.
